Russian president Vladimir Putin vowed to punish Ukraine amid several incursion bids at Russia's border regions. He accused Ukraine of aiming to disrupt Russia's presidential elections by shelling its territory and targeting oil refineries with drones. He added that the Russian defence ministry had foiled five attacks on Belgorod and Kursk regions. He said Ukrainian proxies were armed with 35 tanks and 40 armoured vehicles and that 60% of those soldiers were killed.
