Iran Delegation hopes to improve bilateral trade

Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines President Yahya Ale-Eshagh has said that he hopes India and Iran will prove to be good trade partners in spite of opposition from the United States of America. A 56-member delegation from Iran led by Ale-Eshagh arrived in India on Sunday for another round of talks on how the two can trade via a rupee mechanism set up to skirt sanctions. A previous trade mission of Indian businesses to Iran in March had proved unproductive.
