US and India sign N-deal

The United States and India on Friday signed the nuclear deal which will allow India to buy US civil nuclear technology for the first time in three decades. The accord was signed by US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee. The accord has reached after years of tortuous negotiations and criticism by non-proliferation advocates.
