US: Dashcam video shows black man fleeing moments before fatal shooting

Video from the dashboard of South Carolina police Officer Michael Thomas Slager's cruiser, released on Thursday, captures the very first moments he and motorist Walter Scott meet. These are moments leading up to the fatal shooting that has caused widespread outrage. 50-year-old Walter Scott was killed on Saturday in North Charleston, US as he was running from an officer who pulled his gun and fired eight shots, five of which hit him. A bystander caught the incident on camera and the officer, Michael Slager, 33, was later charged with murder and fired.
