A series of images show New Horizons spacecraft's view of Pluto during the final week of its almost 10-year, three-billion-mile journey. Nasa's spacecraft whizzed past Pluto at the speed of 14km per second on Tuesday clicking pictures that will give us a better understanding of the dwarf planet. New Horizons mission scientists have found Pluto to be 1,473 miles (2,370 kilometers) in diameter, somewhat larger than many prior estimates. Images acquired with the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) were used to make this determination.
