A Pakistani journalist has taken his “dedication” for his profession to another level by covering his own wedding for the local television channel he works for.
Hanan Bukhari, who works with Pakistan’s City 41 channel, appeared on-air in his wedding attire and interviewed his family members including his father, wife and mother-in-law about the occasion.
“My family members and I are very happy today. Since ours is a love marriage, my wife and her family members are happy too,” the visibly excited Bukhari said before interviewing his father, who spoke at length about the “good qualities” of his son.
Bukhari, who introduced himself as a Majnu, then walked up to his newly-wedded wife and asked her how she felt about marrying him. He also asked her about the arrangements - a rally of sports cars and bikes he had brought for the wedding ceremony.

This is not the first time a journalist from Pakistan has succeeded in becoming an internet sensation.
Chand Nawab took social media by storm in 2008 when a video of him trying to keep his cool while recording a piece-to-camera on the stairway of a busy railway station went viral.
The scene was later re-enacted by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015.
