Deanne Lane, the Emmy Award-winning anchor of KSDK TV in St. Louis, Missouri, has died at the age of 65.
Lane left behind her husband, Chris Pappas and son from a previous marriage with Gregory Goodrich, Griffin Goodrich.
She covered local news for KSDK for almost 27 years, including the Missouri Miracle and the Kirkwood City Hall shooting. She also did an in-depth story on homelessness, for which she lived on the streets for five days, KSDK reported.

Lane's family: Husband and son
Lane's personal relationships included her husband, Chris Pappas, who is a retired St. Louis police homicide detective. According to Wiki-en, after retiring from the St. Louis police force, Pappas was employed at Procter and Gamble. He later joined the Federal Reserve Police.
Lane was married to Gregory Goodrich before Pappas, and was blessed with a son and only child Griffin Goodrich.

{{/usCountry}}Gregory had suddenly passed away in 2010 at the age of 50. According to his obituary, Goodrich was a well-known figure in the local restaurant and hospitality community.
He was remembered in his obituary as a devoted husband and father who shared many joys with Griffin, particularly in supporting his baseball aspirations.

What happened to Lane?
On Thursday, January 29, Dan Gray, a news anchor with KLPR and a former colleague of Lane, posted on Facebook that she had suffered a stroke. Gray stated that Pappas told him that Lane was “unable to speak and walk” after she suffered the stroke.
She passed away on Friday, January 30, a day after the stroke in the hospital.
Missouri Broadcasters Association paid tribute to her in a post on X. They wrote, “Deanne Lane was a great Missouri broadcaster who made a difference with her impactful storytelling and community service. Our condolences to Deanne's family, friends and former broadcast colleagues.”
