Donald Trump faces another security threat as a man storms stage in Pennsylvania rally

Police subdued the man with a Taser after he tried to storm the stage at Trump's Pennsylvania rally.

During a campaign rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on Friday, a man tried to rush the stage while former President Donald Trump was speaking.

The man almost stormed into the press area but was quickly surrounded by police and subdued with a Taser. He was then quickly escorted out of the rally.

Podcaster George Behizy, who was there at the rally, posted on X with the video, “A Deranged Democrat tried to breach the security at Trump’s rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and got dealt with BEAUTIFULLY by the cops.”

“They surrounded, and got him out of there within SECONDS!” he added.

According to a video posted on social media by a CBS News reporter, the man managed to leap over a bicycle rack that had been set up as a barrier around the media section. He then began climbing the back of a riser where television reporters and cameras were positioned, causing immediate concern among those in the vicinity. Several people nearby attempted to pull the man off the riser, and within moments, police officers joined the effort to restrain him.

As the police led the man away, Trump quipped, “Is there anywhere that’s more fun to be than a Trump rally?” and the crowd started cheering.

Shortly after the initial incident, another man in the crowd was handcuffed and escorted out of the arena by police, though it was unclear if this second detention was related to the first altercation.

Now it remains unclear what motivated the man who stormed the press area or whether he was a supporter of Trump or an opponent. However, fierce criticism of the media has been a hallmark of Trump’s rallies, often inciting his supporters to turn toward the press section and boo, sometimes with middle fingers raised in defiance.
