Popular streamer JiDion, whose real name is Jidon Armani Adams, appeared to have been detained in Woodhaven, Michigan, while trying to remove a squatter from a McDonald's. The incident happened on Monday afternoon while JiDion was streaming live on the platform Kick.
The footage of the purported arrest from his Kick stream surfaced went viral on social media. It showed the Woodhaven Police deputies arriving at the scene of the incident and detaining JiDion at the spot. The officer can be heard on the stream saying that JiDion was arrested for "trespassing" and being a "disorderly person."
It is unclear if charges have been filed against the streamer. Beyond what was seen on the livestream video, no further details have yet been released either by the police or the streamer's representatives.

JiDion is the founder of EDP Watch, the acronym for Expose Dat Predator, a group that is known for busting child predators, particularly in Michigan. He streams the encounters with child predators to his millions-strong subscriber base on Kick. He also has over 8.5 million subscribers on YouTube, where he posts most of his interactions.
The streamer has worked with local police in various across various states, leading to arrests. For instance, a news article on KFLY documents the aftermath of an online sting headed by JiDion that led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man from Ville Platte, Louisiana, in December 2025.
Speaking to the outlet, the YouTuber had said that the arrested suspect, Quentin James Ortego, admitted to having child pornography on his devices that he would delete before his wife would look through his phone.”
Similarly, an Indianapolis-area volleyball coach, Levi Garrett, was arrested by the police by the same EBS Group led by JiDion. JiDion shared a clip revealing that Garrett had been interacting inappropriately with a 14-year-old boy and also sent explicit photos to the boy.
“He was telling the 14-year-old boy how he was a coach for volleyball,” JiDion had said on a video, according to Fox59. “Obviously, you can see the alarm with that, especially with him being with boys 24/7.”
JiDion describes himself as a ‘podophile hunter.’
