Boebert, a nationwide MAGA superstar, was confident of a win until election night as she maintained her lead in Colorado's 4th district- a Republican bastion that has not elected a Democrat for the last 18 years. But that changed on Wednesday morning as her Democrat opponent took a lead over her, with around 83% of the ballots counted.

And since then, the hopes of the Republicans have continued to dwindle.
