Multiple people were shot at The Owl's Bar in Anaconda, Montana, on Friday afternoon, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) confirmed. Four people were killed in the shooting, Montana Division of Criminal Investigation confirmed.
Amid a manhunt for the suspect, Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center said on Facebook that Micheal ‘Mike' Paul Brown is the suspect in the shooting on East 3rd Street in Anaconda.
Brown, 45, is believed to be armed and dangerous. Granite County Sheriff's Department said in a post on Facebook that Brown was last seen "wearing a tye dyed shirt, blue jeans and an orange bandana."
According to the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center, the suspect was last seen in the Stumptown area of Anaconda. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He is driving a 2007 white Ford F-150 pickup with Montana plates DTY493.

The shooting took place at the Owl Bar on East 3rd Street in Anaconda, Montana, on Friday afternoon at around 10:30 p.m. local time, as per the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation. Four people were confirmed dead on the scene, the department added. It continues to be an active investigation with the SWAT team clearing the suspect's home.
"My office is closely monitoring the situation in Anaconda," Montana House Representative, Ryan Zinke, said in a statement on X.
"Anyone in Anaconda should stay inside and lock their doors. Much is still unknown, and the assailant is still not in custody. Heed direction from law enforcement. Stay safe," he added.
