A video surfaced of the shooting at the school hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, that left three dead, including the suspect, and three injured. The video, recorded from a smartphone, shows the moment during the hockey match when gunfire erupted inside the Dennis M Lynch Arena Monday afternoon.

The suspect died with self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The conditions of the injured victims are currently unknown. Fox News reported that the incident stemmed from a domestic violence altercation in the stands of the Rhode Island-based ice hockey rink.

One of the children remains hospitalized.

Pawtucket Police Chief Confirms Details
Tina Goncalves said that the shooting was targeted and stemmed from a “family dispute.” Police arrived at the arena around 2:40 pm and found two casualties inside the arena. Goncalves confirmed that the shooter appeared to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

While two of the victims died inside the arena, one, a girl, was taken to a hospital where she passed away. The other three victims are in critical condition, she confirmed.
"It was a Senior Night – a time for them to celebrate and to remember. It’s very unfortunate that this happened today. Again, we’re trying to offer some services. We have the Rhode Island EMA. We have the federal EMA out there," Goncalves said at the presser.
“We’ll do anything we can for the outreach to make sure that these kids are getting some kind of support in the days to follow. Obviously, it’s going to all settle in probably later tonight or tomorrow for them.”
