Ubisoft unveiled the new Star Wars Outlaws trailer on April 9, which grants a profound look at the upcoming video game's storyline centred around the criminal underworld. The action-adventure expansion of the Star Wars universe to the video game arena is set around the premises of The Empire Strikes Back and Return to the Jedi.
Hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC on August 30, 2024, the game's self-explanatory title briefly details what Kay Vess and her longtime loyal companion Nix are up to in this new chapter. The April 9 trailer for the first-ever open-world Star Wars game established the grand pantheon of characters and criminal syndicates that will leap into action.

Star Wars Outlaws' new story trailer introduces us to several new bid bads, including syndicates like the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel, the Ashiga Clan and Crimson Dawn. Among them, Sliro is one of the Galaxy's Elite, running his own highly lethal gang, the Zerek Besh.
He organises a gathering of all predominant syndicates to establish his supremacy among the rest, referring to their era as the “Golden Age for the Underworld.”
Though living on the periphery, Kay Vess establishes alliances with each of these clans, offering gamers varying narratives with which to play around. As a fellow scoundrel, Jaylen shows her the way to her one shot at freedom, which involves her pulling off one of the greatest heists of the galaxy.
It brings her face to face with Sliro's empire. Upon her failure, he places a bounty on her head and tasks the galaxy's best hunter, Vail, to capture her. To ultimately finish the job at hand, Kay and Nix will travel across the outer rim to recruit a team of skilled outlaws as their allies – thus introducing fans to a plethora of pivotal characters in the action. t
