The White House press pool on Tuesday received an automated email saying that they were traveling with the President to an “unknown location”. Members of the press pool shared screenshots of the email, which came after as they were loaded into a motorcade for the journey.
The email, describing the POTUS' journey, read: "Pool is being loaded into a motorcade for destination unknown." A screenshot of the automated email from the White House Press Pool was shared by Maggie Haberman of the New York Times.

It created a brief chaos around the President's possible destination, especially amid health concerns in recent times. However, as the press pool later reported, the President was on his way to a restaurant in Washington DC along with his cabinet members.

{{/usCountry}}Bloomberg reported that Trump's surprise restaurant visit was part of his campaign to project that the DC Metropolitan area has become since his decision to deploy federal troops and carry out a takeover of the area. The report noted that Trump and his cabinet members went to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab, a restaurant group near the White House.

The visit comes amid Trump possibly deploying federal troops in another state. The 79-year-old indicated something to that effect as he spoke to the press at the restaurant.
“We’ll announce it probably tomorrow, and it’s going to be something where we will do like we did here,” Trump said. He, however, did not name the state or the city where he would deploy troops. He said he is in contact with the governor of the state where the city is located, and the governor would "love us to be there.”
