In Super Bowl XLVIII, held on Feb 2, 2014, the Seattle Seahawks stunned the Denver Broncos with a 43-8 victory at the MetLife Stadium. It was the franchise’s first NFL title. Seattle dominated from the start in the match, just like at Super Bowl LX.
They scored a safety on the first play and never trailed. QB Russell Wilson threw for 206 yards and two TDs, while the defense forced four turnovers and linebacker Malcolm Smith earned MVP with a pick-six and big plays.
