Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed, reportedly by ICE agent Jonathan Ross, in Minneapolis on Wednesday. A video of the shooting has gone viral, in which Nicole Good's spouse can be seen asking for help from bystanders after Renee was shot inside her SUV.
On Thursday, the New York Post identified the spouse as Rebecca Good. Renee Nicole and Rebecca Good had moved to Minnesota from Kansas City, Missouri, in 2024. The Post reports that they previously lived in Kansas City's Waldo neighborhood for around two years.
Missouri-based news outlet KMBC reported, citing a former neighbor from Waldo, that the couple had left the country and moved to Canada in 2024. They decided to return and settle down in Minnesota in 2024. This detail, however, is pending verification.
Who Is Rebecca Good?
Rebecca Good is the third spouse of Renee Nicole Good and co-parented a six-year-old child, born from Renee Nicole's second husband. In the viral video of the shooting, she can be heard screaming for help. “I'm responsible for it,” she can be seen frantically, while revealing that their six-year-old son is at school.
Renee Nicole Good was married twice before her current partner. Her first husband has not been publicly named, but CNN reported that she had two children with him, a daughter and a son. She married Timothy (Timmy Ray) Macklin Jr., with whom she had a younger son. He died in 2023.

ICE Agent Involved In Shooting Identified
On Thursday, The Minnesota Star Tribune and local Fox-affiliate, Fox News 9, revealed that the ICE agent who shot Renee Nicole Good is Jonathan Ross. As of now, the Department of Homeland Security has not confirmed the identity of the ICE agent.
The DHS maintains that the ICE agent acted in self-defense after Renee Nicole Good allegedly tried to "weaponize the SUV" and tried to run over the ICE agent. Minnesota state authorities have disputed this narrative.
