The Delhi Daredevils lineup does not boast of any superstar player, but that does not make them less potent, felt Sri Lanka’s limited-overs skipper Angelo Mathews.

The Delhi Daredevils all-rounder is confident his team will soon pull off a win. “We have not got so many superstars in our team, but we have got a good set of players who can win games, and that’s what matters. We have played as a team right though. We are on the verge of winning games and I’m sure we can pull it off tomorrow,” said Mathews on the eve of the match.

“Two games that we won, we defended well. You have to win the toss and decide what to do. Even if we bat second we can do it. In all our games, we were this much close, but could not pull it off. Next time, we should be able to do it if we come close,” he added.

The Wankhede Stadium is famous for its dew factor. Mathews said the Daredevils are reasonably prepared to handle any conditions. “The management and captain will take a call on that (dew). MI have been playing extremely good cricket, (for example) last night (against Kings XI Punjab at Indore). We certainly can beat them and we have the skill and firepower to do it,” he said.
