Earlier this month, Kumar got bail in a molestation case filed against him at the Versova police station in Andheri.

A police official from MIDC police station said, “We had objected to his bail application. He was granted a conditional bail.”

In the MIDC case, a woman alleged Kumar touched her inappropriately and passed lewd comments. She said the incident took place in May last year.

The woman said she told her friends about it, but was forced to keep quiet. However, when other complaints of molestation surfaced, she decided to speak up.

After she filed an FIR at MIDC police station, another woman, too, approached the Versova police with a similar complaint.
