Bigg Boss 10: TV actor Karan Mehra becomes first celeb to be evicted
After five weeks of only the common contestants being evicted, the first celebrity contestant was voted oout of the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss 10 - TV actor Karan Mehra was eliminated from the show Saturday evening.
Salman khan’s Bigg Boss sprang one of the biggest surprises of its tenth season on Saturday evening - TV actor Karan Mehra became the first celebrity contestant to be booted out of the reality show on the weekend, ending a five-week streak when only contestants from the commoners team were evicted.
At the time of entering the contest, Karan claimed that he intended to win the game by playing it quiet and fair. He stood out among the celebrities team by always remaining calm and composed even during tough tasks and faced every challenge with a smile. Because of his grounded nature, Karan shared a cordial relationship with all the contestants and was even labelled as the peacemaker of the house.
During his stint in Bigg Boss, Karan found good friends in Bani, Lopamudra, Rahul, Gaurav and Rohan. Karan even shredded a picture of his wife in order to save Rohan from nominations. He was also the first one to spot Bani and Lopa’s strained relationship and tried to make peace between the two.
Despite his cordial behaviour with everyone, he was, however, criticised for getting Lokesh nominated during the phone booth task. But that did not stop him from being a righteous person and he apologised to Lokesh for his wrongdoings.
Speaking about his journey on the show, Karan Mehra said, “Bigg Boss is not like any other game show. It is an experience that can change your life. My journey was a complete rollercoaster ride - fun-filled and full of emotions. I am proud that I was able to survive through the highs and lows and could stay calm during tense situations. I am glad to have met few like-minded people inside the house and will be taking back truckloads of memories. I wish each and every one of them good luck and will be rooting for Rohan and Gaurav. I would like to thank my fans and the audience for supporting me in this fantastic journey.”
Karan’s eviction leaves Lopamudra Raut, Bani, Gaurav Chopra, Rahul Dev, Rohan Mehra, Monalisa, Lokesh Kumari Sharma, Om Swamiji, Manu Punjabi, Nitibha Kaul and Manveer Gujjar in the game.
