Miami’s Cultural Plaza is set to be transformed into a swinging lounge with a new exhibition, called Pavilion MMM this summer.
A Chicago-based creative studio, Design With Company, has released a video detailing the project, which will feature vibrant-coloured chairs hanging from a scaffolding construction. Each chair has been purchased from a yard sale and re-painted before having the legs removed.

The chair bases are then attached to flat boards, which are in turn attached to the scaffolding structure via chains, creating a series of unique swings. The idea behind the project is to use the chairs as a metaphor to tell the history of the multicultural Miami. Pavilion MMM will be unveiled in June.
