After opening a location in Montreal last year, the famous Parisian wax figure museum owned by the Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) is setting up in the Czech capital.
Based on the concept of the original museum in Paris, the Musée Grévin in Prague will exhibit 80 wax figures across a 1,560-square-meter exhibition space.
In an atypical decor inspired by Czech history and culture, visitors will find staggeringly realistic representations of legendary figures such as Vaclav Havel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, alongside wax statues of more contemporary celebrities such as Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Meryl Streep.
Last April, the first Musée Grévin outside of France opened its doors in Montreal, Canada. The site houses wax representations of over 120 personalities, including a representation of Canada's favorite diva Céline Dion as well as one of US President Barack Obama.
