Indian artist N. Vidyasagar showcased his paintings with herb-based colours onto idols of Lord Ganesh made out of eco-friendly materials, mainly shells, dried palm frond stems and tree barks.

Indian artist N. Vidyasagar showcased his paintings with herb-based colours onto idols of Lord Ganesh made out of eco-friendly materials, mainly shells, dried palm frond stems and tree barks, in Bangalore recently. Vidyasagar made a sculpture of 101 idols attached together to create awareness about the danger of synthetic materials and environmental pollutants traditionally used in making the idols which are immersed in various water bodies at the conclusion of the upcoming Ganesha Festival.
