The offerings at the Handloom Clusters Expo 2009, on at Pragati Maidan, are familiar. But when put together, they can sound exotic.

There are satin bed sheets from Kerala, silk lungis from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Benarasi sarees from Uttar Pradesh, Bhagalpuri Silk from Bihar, Bomki from Imphal, home furnishings from Bijnore, and shawls from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. And this is a small sample of the offferings.

The expo will have demonstrations on weaving handloom, hand printing and computer-aided designing.
