From photos of tigers and deer captured in their natural habitat to the busy streets of Chandni Chowk bustling with energy, and portraits of sadhus at the Maha Kumbh Mela held earlier this year — a variety of photographs on the wall vie for your attention as you enter the Open Palm Court. The pictures are a part of Nicefoto-III, an annual photography exhibition organised by Delhi Photography club (DPC) to promote amateur photographers. “We wish to provide a platform for budding photographers who can’t afford to organise a solo exhibition and increase their reach to people,” says Virend-ra Shekhawat, founder, DPC.

“The exhibition is open to anybody with a passion for photography,” he adds. Currently in its third year, the show displays 160 works by 140 photographers. “It’s a great feeling that my works got selected for the show,” says Prateek Srivastava, city-based entrepreneur, whose works are being showcased at the exhibit.
