Beginning today, fans across the world can connect with Lady Gaga, voted the world's most powerful entertainer in a recent poll. GagaVille, a farm in the game FarmVille, is a farm-in game inspired by the singer's new album Born This Way where players get exclusive access to the songs before it is released on May 23.
It will showcase themes from the album and videos… think crystals, unicorns, sheep on motorcycles.

Adisciple of Padmashri Guru Saroja Anuradha Venkat Raman, known for her graceful movements and sense of rhythm, will deliver a solo Bharatnatyam performance, in Tanjavur style, next week. Anuradha performed her stage debut — the Arangetram— in 1994. The dancer and choreographer, a faculty member at Ganesa Natyalaya, also conducts classes at Delhi Tamil Sangam and Gurgaon.

A titan remembered
Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, a member of the Kirana Gharana, was renowned for the khayal form of singing, as well as for his popular renditions of devotional music — Abhangas and Bhajans.
This weekend, Biswajeet Panda, a disciple of Pandi Biswajeet Roy Chaudhary, will render a sitar perfomance in Joshi's memory. The recital will be followed by Naad Yoga.

The Habitat Film Festival focused on regional cinema this year. One of its highlights was a retrospective of celebrated Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh's works. The festival concludes this weekend with the screening of his film Nauka Doobi (Boatwreck). The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmaker moderated by film scholar Sohini Ghosh.

The many takes on the lives and times of outsiders across the world form the theme of the latest issue of photography quarterly PIX. A photo exhibition on the theme will be on, May 27 onwards.
