Her woman employer sent her with a man around 8pm to buy vegetables from the neighbouring market. The man took her to Salempur where two more men were there. The three men allegedly raped the woman around 11pm

The residents of Victory Crossroads in Sector 143B got their diesel generator set retrofitted to run on PNG, which is expected to reduce their bill by 20% on the power supplied by the generator set.

Noida to get 50 transformers for improved power supply

A large number of transformers in the city get overloaded, particularly in summer, and often break down. The power department had sent a requisition to the Noida authority seeking an approval for purchasing 91 transformers for the city.

The transformers are of 400 KVA and 100 KVA capacity and will replace lower capacity transformers. This will not only increase the electricity voltage supplied to consumers, but will also take care of the problem of transformers going phut due to overloading.

Noida child hospital to have 30 beds for general treatment from July

Besides these, treatment for adults will be available in the departments of ENT and ophthalmology (eye). “It was decided by the governing body of the SSCHPGI that there must be a provision for followup of patients up to 18 years of age who got treatment at the child hospital. Hence, 30 beds must be provided for general treatment as well. Ninety percent of the equipment has already been received. Appointment will also take place soon. We are hopeful to start the facility by July,” said Dr Dinesh Kumar, executive registrar, SSCHPGI.
