Raghav Bikhchandani

Raghav Bikhchandani is a Senior Content Producer at Hindustan Times, where he conducts research for stories and specials across multiple beats for the editorial desk and the Page 1 team.

He has worked in journalism since 2020, beginning his career with a three-year stint at ThePrint. Joining as a trainee assisting editor-in-chief Shekhar Gupta and leaving as a Senior Correspondent, Raghav developed his skills as a writer, reporter and video anchor on various issues, such as defence & foreign affairs, history, sports and pop culture. This included longform writing and YouTube content for the publication’s PastForward series.

In 2024, Raghav joined Splainer Media as an Editorial Manager, handling daily operations and spearheading administrative duties of the weekday ‘Headlines That Matter’ newsletter—in its final year of publication under the leadership of digital news pioneer Lakshmi Chaudhry. He also contributed to monthly editorial planning and content writing for the weekend Advisory edition, focusing on culture, travel, art and music.

Raghav credits his undergraduate studies in world history–-with a specialisation in colonialism—as foundational to his research skills and versatility in the newsroom across print and digital.
