The 39-year-old engineer, who set ablaze his wife and two daughters as part of an alleged suicide pact, will be cross-questioned in the presence of a pathologist, the police said on Saturday.
Police said the pathologist works in a laboratory where the accused claimed to have tested HIV positive. The laboratory owner, however, has denied that the engineer took any test at the facility.
“There is no record available at the pathology laboratory. But, the engineer is still claiming that he underwent test at the same lab. On Sunday, he will be confronted with the pathologist,” a police officer said on the condition of anonymity.
“He will also be taken to his residence and a search will be conducted,” the officer added.
On Thursday, a HIV test of the engineer showed negative result. The engineer has been changing his statements. After claiming that he underwent an HIV test, the engineer had told his interrogators that he had taken a test about seven months ago after he developed sores in his mouth.
Meanwhile, the cops took the engineer to his work place in Bundelkhand region on Saturday as part of its investigation in the case. The 39-year-old is in police custody for four days till March 17.

{{/usCountry}}Earlier, the engineer had made a chilling revelation to the police that he burnt to death his wife and daughters - aged nine and two - inside his car after finding out that they all were HIV positive.
The engineer had told the police that he and his 37-year-old wife had tested positive for HIV about seven months ago. He had claimed that another test showed his daughters were HIV infected too.
The engineer had told the police that his wife had pleaded him to save the children at the last moment but it was too late by then to save them.
