Pakistani boy Ramzan leaves for Bangladesh to be united with his mother in Karachi

The Pakistani boy, Ramzan left for Kolkatta on Sunday Morning to reach Bangladesh border to be reunited with his mother Pakistan.

The Pakistani boy, Ramzan left for Kolkatta on Sunday Morning to reach Bangladesh border to be reunited with his mother Pakistan. He would reach the Bangladesh border on October 25 from where BSF would handed him over to his father or paternal aunt.

Ramzan had crossed into India from Bangladesh after being harassed by his stepmother and neglected by his father. He went to Ranchi, then to Mumbai and Delhi before being caught by police at the Bhopal railway station in October 2013. He was living in a shelter home run by a body named Aarambh in Bhopal.

“His mother called from Pakistan on Friday and informed Ranzan that she has arranged the required documents needed for his travel to Pakistan. She asked him to come to the Bangladesh border where either his father or his aunt would receive him.She saud it would be easy for her to take him to Pakistan,” said Arambh shelter home director, Archana Sahay adding that he would accompanied by police officials who would hand-over to the Border Security Force(BSF) at the Bangladesh border.
