Sindhis staying in India aren't refugees

The merger of the Sindh province into Pakistan and no formation of a separate province for the community in the country after the partition do not make Sindhis staying in India refugees, said state general secretary of the Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha, Bhagwandas Sabnani here on Saturday.

He said this while addressing a dharna organised to protest the conversion of Hindus in Pakistan and the atrocities being done on them. Sabnani also demanded to grant citizenship to Hindus coming from Pakistan.

Sabnani further said persecution and conversion of Hindus in Pakistan would not be tolerated and every Hindu and members of the Sindhi community here in India is with them.
