Synopsis: A makeup girl beco-mes an extra on a movie set and then goes on to become the most wanted heroine of the early 80s. Chronicling the meteoric rise and steep fall of the erstwhile screen sensation - Silk Smitha, The Dirty Picture is set against the colourful and entertaining backdrop of the South Indian film industry of the 80's.



The quintessential siren, Silk, knew her audiences, and it didn't seem like anything would stop the fiercely ambitious starlet to achieve the pinnacle of success, till it did, in the shape of unrequited love.

Legendary music composer Bappi Lahiri sang the film's popular song, Oh La La, that has become quite a rage with the masses adn is repetedly requested on various radio channels. The film, an account of the life of the doomed sex symbol Silk Smitha and Indian films of the 1980s era, has garnered a lot of attention due to its bold subject and picturisation.

Synopsis: Ranveer is a young, confident and a well settled man in India whose elder brothers Balbir and Bikram Singh are American citizens. Ranveer's parents leave for holiday to the US to meet their sons.

Soon, Ranveer receives a call from his mother who tells him his brother Bikram is dead, his dad is injured and his elder brother Balbir is missing. The cause of this is unknown. Ranveer leaves for the US and tries to find out what happened but in vain. Then he meets Rizwan Haider, who tells him what actually had happened on that day. Some local miscreants had attacked Ranveer's family and absconded.

These people were locals and had the support of the local police and people. Ranveer meets the local Police in Chief, who doesn't want to help him in any ways. Ranveer realises that he has to fight this battle on his own and he gets down on it.
