According to sources, the trio, who will be crooning for director Shakun Batra's next, is looking for a fun track with a young, energetic vibe, reports the Dawn. Alia Bhatt had earlier lent her voice for Imtiaz Ali's Highway.

Confirming the news, Shakun Batra said that they are in the process of locking a track for Kapoor and Sons, adding that producer Karan Johar has come up with some exciting ideas for the promotional unit. However, it is being said that the song will be recorded and picturised in September.

Shakun Batra's directorial debut Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu was also produced by Karan, while Alia and Sidharth's debut film Student Of The Year was produced and directed by Karan too.

Kapoor and Sons is the about "a modern family with a love triangle", Karan Johar, who is producing the movie, had tweeted some time earlier.

A big star in his country, Fawad Khan hit it big with Khoobsurat and with Pakistani serials being aired on Zee's Zindagi channel through 2014.
