Manisha Koirala’s birthday party at a Mumbai hotel on Thursday was a star-studded affair with Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Manish Malhotra among many others trooping in to wish her on her special day. Shah Rukh was seen feeding Manisha cake while Rekha was seen hugging her.
Pictures and videos from the party are online and show Manisha looking lovely in a white-embriodered Indo western wear—a pair of narrow trousers with a kurti. Complimenting her look, Manisha had tied her hair in a high bun. She was accompanied by her mother.
In one of the videos, veteran actor Rekha is seen garlanding Manisha with mogra and offering her mother flowers too. Later, all three pose together. Shah Rukh, who was her co-star in Dil Se, too came in to wish her. He returned from Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, where he was busy attending the Carribbean Premier League. Incidentally, he also owns a cricket team there.

Manisha was one of the leading ladies in Bollywood in the 90s, in fierce competition with Madhuri Dixit, the reigning diva of the day. Her successful films include Mani Ratnam’s Bombay and Dil Se, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Khamoshi, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 1942 A Love Story. She has worked with all the leading men of the industry in that time including Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan (Akele Hum Akele Tum).
