Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday shared a picture that shows him, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji during the look test for their upcoming film Brahmastra. The first of Ayan’s fantasy adventure trilogy, Brahmastra also stars Alia Bhatt in a lead role.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Big B wrote, “Ranbir Kapoor , Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA .. cool .. shoot starts next month .. with Alia too .. a joy to be with this incredible young generation..” The team will start shooting for the film in March.
Not much is known about the film yet but director Ayan had earlier said, “This film is a modern day film. It is set in India as it exists today but the name of the film is ‘Brahmastra’ because the energy, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India. As far as costumes are concerned, there are some which may not be the way you would expect them to be.”

{{/usCountry}}The film is releasing on August 15, 2019. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will collaborate with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra, CEO of Prime Focus for Brahmastra.
Amitabh also recorded a song for 102 Not Out. He shared pictures from the recording set and wrote, “3 am at the recording studio .. and singing producing and designing song for 102 Not Out film .. song titled .. hahaha .. BAADDUUMMBAAA !! Fun.” The film also stars Rishi Kapoor.
