Confirmed! Shahid Kapoor to tie the knot by 2015-end

After days of rumours on whether or not Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is getting married and who is the girl, he spoke about his wedding plans. Shahid confirmed that he may be finally settling down by the end of 2015. Is Mira Rajput the bride? Well, Shahid doesn't want to name her yet.

Finally, all the speculations can be laid to rest. Shahid Kapoor, who has been in the news for the past few days after news of his December wedding started doing the rounds, has finally confirmed that marriage is indeed on the cards.

At the Hindustan Times Mumbai’s Most Stylish 2015 awards on Thursday (March 26), Shahid opened up, saying, "I am not engaged, but what you have been reading is kind of true. Marriage is on the cards sometime towards the end of the year and I think that’s all I can say (right now)."

As per reports, Shahid will be tying the knot with Delhi girl Mira Rajput, whose family has been close to his father Pankaj Kapur for many years. "I will refrain from getting into details. I thought that since I am here today, it was important to acknowledge it in front of the media, so I am doing that," said the 34-year-old.

At the glittering event, talking of his would-be wife, Shahid – who won the Mumbai’s Most Stylish Bollywood Actor award – said that "she is a normal girl and I am a normal guy, and we should treat it like something normal and regular. It’s my personal space and I won’t get into the details. I’m just happy to announce it."
