Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh want a hush-hush celebrity wedding in the age of social media. The Bollywood actors are attracting intense media speculation over their imminent November 20 wedding at the scenic Lake Como in Italy. Bearing today’s celebrity weddings and Instagram obsession, it looks like Deepika and Ranveer are favouring a mobile phone-free wedding.

To ensure they have a quiet, discreet wedding, Deepika and Ranveer are trying to encourage their wedding guests to simply enjoy the moment and are discouraging tech usage by asking friends and family to abandon their devices for the duration of their wedding ceremony.

“They have asked guests to not bring their cell phones to the ceremony. Considering the fact that it will be a destination wedding, there will be fewer people and all the arrangements will be in place. While the two, in all likelihood, will share pictures with their fans eventually, they hope this step will help them guard their privacy,” DNA reported.

Deepika and Ranveer seem really inspired by cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma’s secret destination wedding in Florence, Italy in December 2017. According to a Filmfare report, only 30 people from both the sides will be invited to the wedding.

Ranveer and Deepika were recently spotted in Italy with Deepika’s sister, Anisha. They were seen walking hand-in-hand, trying to avoid cameras and reportedly yelling at fans who tried to click their pictures. Once back in Mumbai, they stepped out of the airport holding hands and he even gave her a sweet kiss in her car. Ranveer and Deepika ‘s online PDA is also out of control these days. Both of them leave loved-up comments on each other’s photos on Instagram and last week, Deepika also shared a picture of herself and Anisha, clicked by Ranveer.
