Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar shared the first look of his upcoming film, Lucknow Central, Monday afternoon. Farhan essays the role of a prisoner who aspires to become a singer.

Lucknow Central is set in a jail where Farhan is a prisoner, who wants to be a Bhojpuri singer. Ravi Kishan has already shot his cameo and they share a good working relationship with each other.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari, and is slated to release on September 15.
