Google releases 2017’s top 10 trends in entertainers, movies, songs. Did your favourite make the cut?

Sunny Leone was once again the most searched for star on Google in 2017. Here’re others who made it on the list of top 10.

Google has released its list of top trends that ruled the internet in 2017. While there are some obvious entries, a few others might just surprise you.

Sunny Leone, Baahubali 2 and Hawa Hawa were the top trending entertainer, movie and song in 2017 respectively.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, unsurprisingly, was the highest trending movie of the year. The second part in SS Rajamouli’s two-part epic was loved by critics and audiences alike, raking in Rs 1,700 crore at the box office.

Coming in at the second spot was Aamir Khan’s Dangal, the year’s highest grossing film with more than Rs 2,000 crore. Here’s the list of 10 top trending movies in 2017:

When it came to entertainers, no one was able to dethrone Sunny Leone from the top spot. She was followed by Bigg Boss contestants Arshi Khan and Sapna Choudhary. Their co-contestants on the reality show, Shilpa Shinde and Bandagi Kalra also joined the list at seventh and eighth spots respectively. Here’s the list of 10 top trending entertainers in 2017:

Once again, remakes were the flavour of the season with Hawa Hawa from Mubarakan being the highest trending song. The only two international songs to make the cut were the two biggest songs of the year, Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Shape of You by Ed Sheeran. Here’s the list of 10 top trending songs in 2017:
