How did Shahid Kapoor confuse his dad? Here are the details

Actor Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapoor loves him in his recent release Udta Punjab but couldn’t decide whether he was better in this film or Haider.

Actor Shahid Kapoor is basking in the glory of his recent release Udta Punjab. While he has been getting many compliments, the best one was from his father veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor. In fact, the latter couldn’t decide whether he liked his son more in this film, or in Haider (2014).

“After watching the film, Pankaj came out debating over which character has he liked more between Haider and Tommy Singh. Shahid curiously even asked as to which character does he prefer more. After taking a long pause, Pankaj still couldn’t decide on which character to pick as being an actor himself he has loved both his characters,” says Shahid’s spokesperson.

Pankaj’s approval is very important to Shahid and he takes it very seriously, says a source, close to Shahid. “Shahid often waits for his father’s opinions on his films. He was a little nervous about how his father would like him in this film as it is a very different kind of role. He is was thrilled to see Pankaj’s response,” our source adds.
