I haven’t even seen the script: Manoj Bajpayee on Sanjaya Baru film

Actor Manoj Bajpayee says he has no idea about the film based on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s political career.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is said to be the top choice for the makers of an upcoming film based on Sanjaya Baru’s book The Accidental Prime Minister: the Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh.

However, the actor has no clue about the project.

“I have no idea about anything regarding this. No one has approached me as yet so I don’t know.”

On being asked if he would be keen to play the role of Baru, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s media advisor, Bajpayee said, “I haven’t even seen the script. How can I tell you whether I want to be a part of a film or not without reading the script?”.

In one of the reports, producer Sunil Bohra expressed his desire to cast Bajpayee in the important role.
