Kissing on-screen isn’t a problem, but nudity is: Sayyeshaa Saigal
Actor Sayyeshaa Saigal says that while she doesn’t have an issue with bold scenes in movies, she’s very sure that she will not perform any nude scenes.
Every actor, at some or the other time, has to face the question of doing bold scenes in Bollywood, but Sayyeshaa seems to have her priorities set.
The actor who’s been getting rave reviews for her performance in her debut film Shivaay, says she’s okay with intimate scenes, but not nudity.
“Being glamorous is great and I’m not averse to that. Wearing a swimsuit or a two-piece or having kissing scenes for a film is not a problem, but I won’t be comfortable with nudity and I’m sure I’ll never do anything of that sort,” says the grandniece of Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar.
She does, however, say that a lot depends on the kind of film it is and the director she will work with. “Every director has a different situation in mind, and it depends on how they are going to portray your character on screen. Since I haven’t faced the situation, I haven’t thought about it.”
Sayyeshaa feels that even the co-star matters a lot. “If I’ve to do bold scenes, my co-star will make a huge difference. They’re your biggest support and how comfortable you feel with them makes the entire process easier. (Also) I have to be comfortable in my skin and with my own self.”
