Leena Yadav to direct a ‘sweet and funny’ father-son flick

Speaking to the media in the national capital today, the filmmaker said, “I will be doing a Father -Son film based in Delhi. It will be very relatable and has a sweet funny story.”

After bringing forth some very serious social-issues through her film Parched, director Leena Yadav will soon come up with some sweet funny story in her next film.

Speaking to the media in the national capital today, the filmmaker said, “I will be doing a Father -Son film based in Delhi. It will be very relatable and has a sweet funny story.”

Further talking about the progress of the film, Leena said that though actors are not finalised yet, she is planning to finish the film by March next year.

The director was here for the promotion of her upcoming film Parched starring Radhika Apte, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Surveen Chawla, Lehar Khan and others.

Parched, which revolves around life of four women, who live an unwanted life in a village of north-western region of India, which still suffers from age-old issues like forced child marriages, spousal and familial rape and others, will hit the cinemas on September 23.
