Don’t consider myself a star, says Radhika Apte

Radhika Apte says she doesn’t consider herself a Bollywood star, and believes she has a long way to go. “I don’t think I consider myself a star. The journey has been difficult, but it’s been fulfilling. I believe my journey has just begun and I still have a long way to go,” said Radhika.

Radhika will now be seen in Leena Yadav’s directorial Parched. Set in rural India, Parched follows the lives of four ordinary women who begin to break free from century-old traditions.

Radhika said, “I think Leena is a remarkable woman. Her way of thinking is very ahead of its time. It’s fun to work with her. I hope to work with her again. She is very good with actors.”

Produced by Ajay Devgn, Parched is set to release on September 23.
