New lot of actors are one big happy family: Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor says the new lot of actors in the industry share great camaraderie. "When the young brigade arrives, we all hang out together. We have become this large group that has a lot of fun together," she says.

Gone are the days when Bollywood actors wouldn’t get along due to alleged rivalries. According to Shraddha Kapoor, the new generation not only gets along, but also hangs out together when given the chance.

Talking about the camaraderie she shares with her colleagues, Shraddha says, "I’m very fond of Alia (Bhatt) and Parineeti (Chopra). I met Parineeti when she had just finished working on Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl (2011) and I had wrapped Luv Ka The End (2011) at the time. She’s very cool and a lot of fun."

She adds, "As for Alia, I did Aashiqui 2 with Bhatt saab’s (Alia’s father, Mahesh Bhatt) banner. She’s a lot of fun too. In fact, we’ve met quite a few times at Karan’s (Johar) parties. We all get along."

However, Shraddha says there is no one person in particular who she hangs out with. "I have my own group of friends who are not part of the industry. But at [film] parties, when the young brigade arrives, we all hang out together. We have become this large group that has a lot of fun together."
