Prachi Desai to watch Azhar with Azharuddin’s wife Naureen

The actor wants to watch her new film with former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s first wife, Naureen.

Initially, Prachi Desai found it “extremely challenging” to play the role of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s first wife, Naureen, in her latest film, Azhar. However, now that the film has opened to encouraging reviews, Prachi is glad that she, too, has received a great response for her performance.

“It has been humbling to receive such an overwhelming response from the critics and the audience for my performance, but I’m eager to know the final verdict from the lady herself,” says Prachi Desai. (Aalok Soni)

“But Prachi is currently most interested in hearing what Naureen has to say about her role. That’s why Prachi will be flying to Hyderabad (Naureen lives there) next week to watch the film with her,” says an insider. Apparently, Naureen and Prachi hit it off when they first met. The Bollywood actor spent hours with Naureen to prepare for the role. “Now that the movie has released, she really wants to know what Naureen will have to say about it,” adds the source.

Confirming the news, Prachi says, “It has been humbling to receive such an overwhelming response from the critics and audience for my performance, but I’m eager to know the final verdict from the lady herself. That would mean the world to me, and would add that extra sparkle to this impactful journey that I undertook to play her.”
