Rohit Roy supports Hrithik: To say she’s a woman and hence she must be right is unfair

Actor Rohit Roy, who worked with Hrithik Roshan in Kaabil, has supported the actor in an elaborate Facebook post.

Actor Rohit Roy, who has worked with actor Hrithik Roshan in Kaabil, which released earlier this year, has joined the list of Bollywood celebrities who have supported Hrithik in his legal battle against actor Kangana Ranaut. In an open letter that he posted on his Facebook account, Rohit says he’s “not biased towards my friend in any way” and that “to just say oh she’s a woman and hence she must be right is a great disservice to the man in question.” Here’s the complete post:

Rohit Roy and Hrithik Roshan starred together in Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil.

Earlier, actors Farhan Akhtar and Yami Gautam also wrote open letters asking people not to discriminate. Actors Shabana Azmi, Sonam Kapoor, filmmakers Karan Johar, Sanjay Gupta, fashion designer Masaba Mantena, and author Twinkle Khanna, too, have extended their support to Hrithik on Twitter.

Hrithik, who had earlier stayed silent on the issue, has recently given two television interviews explaining his side of the story. Kangana is yet to react to his comments. However, her sister Rangoli has been tweeting against Hrithik.
