Former couple Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan are often spotted spending quality time together with sons Hredhaan and Hrehaan. The 43-year-old actor is happy to be on friendly terms with his ex-wife and says: “Sussanne and I are not trying to set any example. This is how we are. This is the kind of person I am and I don’t think I can have anything that is not peaceful. Relationships should be healthy, mutually beneficial and adding growth to both the parties.”
Childhood sweethearts Hrithik and Sussanne got married in 2000, and parted ways on amicable terms in 2014. There has been no news of bitterness between the two, and Sussanne is often seen rooting for Hrithik’s films.
The actor believes he has always sought peace in every situation and that can’t change. “I’m not dependent on another person, be it a friend or family or Sussanne, to have similar thoughts as me. I’m a peaceful person. The other person’s opinion or intentions don’t matter because whatever the case is, I’m the one who seeks peace and I’ll make sure it stays like that.”
On the professional front, Hrithik is basking in the success of his recent release, Kaabil, and credits past failures for teaching him to move forward. “Whenever you get proved wrong, that is your access point to grow. Success means you’re stagnant. It is the time period post success which is dangerous and if you don’t try to learn, things will only get stagnant,” he says.
