Varun Dhawan's character in Main Tera Hero spoofs Ranbir Kapoor's Badtameez Dil in a sequence from the film. The actor shakes his leg to Bhole Mera Dil Maane Na, in an attempt to impress Nargis and Ileana's father Anupam Kher.

Sample the lyrics: "Maine nahi Kashi dekha, naa hi Neelkanth dekha, Baijnath bhi naa dekha, Devghar bhi na dekha, Bhole tere darshan ko kabse pyaasi pyaasi hai meri ankhiyaan."

Looks like Sreenath "Seenu" Prasad (Varun Dhawan) is obsessed with Ranbir Kapoor, as in another scene, he tells a bunch of girls: "Achcha khasa Ranbir Kapoor mil raha tha, lekin inki kismat mein to Shakti Kapoor hai."

Don't know what Ranbir Kapoor has to say about this.

In some of his films, the protagonist romanced two heroines (Gharwali Baharwali, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural) at the same time and had a justification for his conduct. Main Tera Hero, where Varun Dhawan is seen romancing both Nargis and Ileana, seems to belong to the same genre.
