Writer Antony Johnson is still on board, translating Anthony Horowitz's words into a script suitable for picture panels, but illustrator sisters Kanako and Yuzuru are replaced by Emma Vieceli, an artist whose recent work includes The Avalon Chronicles and Vampire Academy.

There are nine books in the Alex Rider series, all following the adventures of a teenage spy. The first four have so far been given the graphic novel treatment.

The first Young Bond book, SilverFin, was also turned into a graphic novel in 2006.
