While people often relate Kashmir with the Mughals, very little is known about the rulers before them. This book gives history lovers a fine glimpse of that era in Kashmir.

The book The Last Queen of Kashmir is an engaging tale of medieval history. Author Rakesh K Kaul who himself is a Kashmiri pandit, starts the book by talking about his struggles as a Kashmiri youth during insurgency days and how a chance to get through a University in America changed his life forever.
